Now it's time to formulate your question! You have found something of interest, made sure the information is accurate but now we need to determine the question we are going to answer. Using our Inquiry Journal, we can go back and revisit resources, find what you were most passionate about and search other sources with more specific keywords and a more defined topic.
You will need a username and password. See your teacher or librarian for that information.
Step One- Look It Over
Look at your Inquiry Journal and notes you took.
Look at questions you had and what questions answered.
Look at relationships across topics.
Step Two- Think About
Think about what sparked your interest.
Think about what you are passionate about.
Think about what you'd like to learn more about.
Step Three- Record and Reformulate
Record/organize information in your Inquiry Journal- use multiple pages if needed
Use this information, your Inquiry Journal and your teacher/librarian to determine a research questions that aligns with your interests.
