Doctor in Educational Sciences from the Pablo de Olavide University, she recieved an extraordinary award for the 2014-2015 academic year and a Bachelor of Education and Psychopedagogy from the University of Granada. At present she is a Lecturer at the University of Extremadura. He has been a member of the following research projects:
"Implementation of the Undergraduate Tutorial Action System" (2009-2010) funded by the Ministry of Education and Science.
“Detecting and Preventing Drop out from Higher Education or Supporting Students to Switch Successfully to VET".
“Diagnosis and training of teachers for the incorporation of ICT in students with functional diversity National Plan for the promotion of Scientific and Technical Research of Excellence 2013-2016.
She has experience teaching at the Pablo de Olavide University, the University of Seville and the University of Extremadura, both in Bachelor's and Master's degrees. She has been a guest speaker at the Universities of Padova, Macerata and Èvora. She has participated in research exchanges at the Università Degli Study di Cassino (Italy, 2002-2004), Akershus University College (Norway, 2007-2009) where she has completed the Master Education of Professionals in Teacher Education, under the Erasmus Mundus program, Università degli Studi di Padova (2012-2013), a benchmark in the development of tutorial systems in Italy. She has also visited the Institute of Social Sciences of the University of Lisbon to delve into the causes of university dropouts and the relationship with guidance services. She has collaborated with the University of Macerata Italia. Since 2017 she has collaborated with the University of Évora in the line of service-learning, the last resulting in the publication of the book chapter: “The training of educators: a stay at the University of Évora and a look through the learning / service concept ”. She has presented more than thirty papers at international conferences and has published numerous articles in international journals of academic excellence such as the Electronic Journal of Research in Educational Psychology; @tic. Educational Innovation Magazine; Journal of University Teaching; Interuniversity Magazine Social Pedagogy; International Journal of Sociology of Education, as well as book chapters in prestigious publishers such as Wolters Kluver, Octaedro, Piramide. She is also the author of two monographic books: "Interpersonal relations in the classroom and cooperative work" and "Fundamentals, organisation and action planning guiding tutorial ”. Her publications have focused on educational guidance, tutoring, college dropout, and service-learning. In addition, he has been a member of the Quality Commission of the Early Childhood Education Degree since 2015 at the University of Extremadura and coordinates the Student Orientation Commission since 2016.
