LSST@LATAM

The First LSST Latin American Meeting (LSST@LATAM): Catalyzing Research Collaborations will gather the growing Latin American community involved in the Vera Rubin Observatory's Legacy Survey of Space and Time (LSST) project. A 10-year photometric survey will generate an unprecedented amount of data to probe themes from the Solar System to the largest structures in the Universe. 

Key aims are to provide updates on the construction and operation phases, elaborate on the scientific interests and expertise of the various Latin American partners, and ultimately explore synergies that could be formed and strengthened.

The meeting will take place from June 10 through 14 in La Serena, Chile.
