In July 2021, the forum titled 'Rights to Information in a Changing World' was held, featuring notable speakers. This included Dr Sonia Randhawa, Sri Murniati Yusuf and Khairil Yusof. Over the duration of the talk, the panelists discussed the history of RTI in Malaysia and the reasons why there is hesitance to operate on an open by default basis.

Following the forum, youth activists from various organisations came together for a roundtable discussion on RTI. The purpose of the discussion was to increase awareness of the importance of RTI, along with the current state of freedom of information in Malaysia. After exploring the topic thoroughly, over 30 youth organisations signed a resolution document urging for the implementation of three solutions that will help implement RTI.
