Here at Undead Bread, all of our products start with Morticia, our sourdough starter. She was created here in my home kitchen and has qualities and flavors unique to this region and our specific wild yeast community.
When sourcing ingredients, I look for organic, fresh, sustainable, and local whenever possible. I bake only with filtered water to further highlight the flavor of the bread and the specific blend of grains used in each product.
Our menu changes with the seasons, with inspiration, with what ingredients are available, and at our Bakers' whim. Our Hotplate will always have our most recent offerings!

Bread
Our Original Gangster, the plain round boule! Flour, Water, Salt, and just a bit of Morticia to bring it to life - nothing more. Makes amazing toast, sandwiches, croutons, and is lovely hollowed-out and filled with your favorite dip. It's sturdy enough to be the main player in your pull-apart cheesy garlic bread but tender enough to serve buttered to the pickiest of toddlers.
$8
Our OG Sourdough loaf is infused with orange zest and is bursting with sweetened, dried cranberries soaked in orange juice. We love this one toasted with cream cheese, slathered with apple butter, or as the perfect little toast points served with goat cheese and honey.
$10
A labor of love, each loaf of our sourdough brioche contains a full stick of Kerrygold Irish butter and 2 eggs from our backyard hens. It is beautifully golden, lightly sweet, amazingly tender and pillowy, with that light sourdough tang that can't be duplicated. We love it best used for our PB&J stuffed French toast!
$14
A pantry staple at our house, this sandwich loaf is great in any application. A touch of honey and butter in the dough makes for a tender crumb, while freshly milled, local flour from Farmer's Ground gives it a hearty, robust flavor.
$8
Full of beautiful airy pockets and bubbles, crisp edges, and topped with a generous glug of herb-infused olive oil and flaky Maldon sea salt.

Sourdough Bagels
Our bagels are 100% sourdough leavened, cold-fermented for at least 24 hours, and are boiled before baking for that authentic, NYC Bagel "chew". We can't promise that they will be the best bagels you've ever had, but we're confident they'll be in the running.

The Cookies
Our cookies begin with carefully browned butter, eggs from our backyard hens, and Morticia. We use a combination of Guittard semisweet super cookie chips and Ghirardelli milk chocolate, and they are topped with flaky sea salt right at the end. Adding active sourdough starter to our cookie dough and then a long cold fermentation makes them incredibly flavorful and chewy - these are hands-down the best cookies I've ever eaten - and I've eaten a LOT.
