The Undead Bread Co. in Brockport, NY is an authentic sourdough pop-up microbakery established in 2024. All of our products are made in my home kitchen using only natural leavening (no commercial yeast) unless specifically stated. **COMING SOON** Bread will be preordered and available for weekly porch pick up on Friday evenings and Sunday mornings!

Our products are handmade in small batches using organic, sustainable, local, and seasonal ingredients whenever possible. Each loaf is fermented for at least 20 hours using wild yeast sourdough culture and then baked in my home oven. No dough conditioners or preservatives are ever used.
The process of making sourdough bread allows the dough a long time to ferment, which then begins to break down the starches and gluten proteins. This makes the bread highly digestible, good for gut health, and delicious! Authentic sourdough should have a pleasant tang but not be overly sour.
Morticia is the driving force behind everything we bake here at Undead Bread! Born on October 1, 2023, after a night of insomnia-fueled binge scrolling, Tish has been relentless in her pursuit to take over the world. Our attempts to keep her at bay with our cold temperatures here in western NY (and in my refrigerator) have been met with enthusiastic, bubbling overflow and demands for more and more food - proving to all of us that she is, indeed ... undead.
