Session: Designing Your Project-based Learning Course

Dr. Alicia Johnson is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Instructional Design and Technology at Virginia Tech's School of Education. Dr. Johnson has spent several years practicing teaching and training using instructional design practices and methodologies to create learning experiences that enhance learning and motivation and prepare graduate students for their careers in instructional design, higher education faculty, or educational research. Many of these learning experiences occur in a Problem Based Learning environment. Dr. Johnson has presented at several international professional conferences on the various aspects of project-based learning in higher ed classrooms and online learning environments.
