Session: Harnessing Case-based Learning

As a second generation Instructional Systems Designer, Ashley Bunn has been working in and around adult learning training and developers since the age of 15. She holds a Master’s degree in Instructional Systems Design as well as a certification from UMBC. Over the years Ashley has held various roles within the training and development industry from Senior Instructional Systems designer, Senior manager, Project Manager, Manager of Learner Experience and now project manager for a DHS Cybersecurity subcontract.

She has a passion for engineering innovative learning experiences and has used her inherited knowledge in her free time to facilitate workshops on diversity and inclusion, domestic violence, and respectful dialogue. Ashley is a lifelong learner and at this phase of her career she is looking to mentor and develop other instructional designers new to the industry and create learning experiences that promote healing, wellness, and reflection. She's now a certified yogi and is currently writing her first novel which serves as a commentary on the origins of racism and the work we can do to confront systemic oppression.
