FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions:

What if I just want to take a course or two? Do I have to enroll in a program?

The Visiting Students program is designed just for that purpose. If you need to renew a license, or if you wish to take a class in order to determine if you wish to apply to a program, or if you just have a love of learning, Visiting Students may be the answer for you.

What if I cannot get my materials together in time for a deadline?

The application deadline for the fall is July 1, spring is October 1, and summer is April 1. If you miss the application deadline or want to take classes IN THE FALL OR SPRING before you formally apply you may be able to start your program as a visiting student. It is important to consult with the contact person for the program you are interested in to be sure the classes you take will count toward your program. Visit the Visiting Students website for more information. If want to take classes in the summer, you must enroll for visiting classes through UNCG Online here.

How much do the programs cost?
