Evaluation
Your final assignment for this webquest is to write a letter, as the mayor of Coastal Town, North Carolina, to the residents of your town. In your letter you will need to tell the people of Coastal Town, NC what you plan to do about the coastal erosion happening in your town. Will your community spend millions of dollars to try and stop the erosion? If so, what will you build and why? If you do not plan to stop the erosion, what is going to happen to your community? You need to provide specific reasons for your decision to either stop the erosion or let nature take its course. Your letter should have at least 3 paragraphs. You will be evaluated on your opinion letter using this rubric. Type your letter in a Google Doc and then turn it in via Google Classroom under the "Erosion Webquest" assignment. Once you have turned in your completed letter, you will be finished with the webquest!
