About me

I am an Assistant Professor in the department of Communication Studies at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG). In this portfolio, you find information about my work as an educator and scholar specializing in digital cultures.

My research explores how networked technologies change the ways people participate in learning communities, and it focuses on populations with little experience using digital tools.

In the classroom, I nurture peer collaboration, critical thinking, and practical engagement with new media. I have experience teaching undergraduate courses from 100 to 400 levels.
