The UNC Charlotte Cato College of Education will sponsor a poster session/gallery crawl on November 29, 2018 from 12 noon to 2:30 p.m. in the UNC Charlotte Cato College of Education Building 1st floor atrium. Researchers are encouraged to display current investigations that explore how to develop agents for change through understanding the role of border building, border crossing, and border eliminating. We live in an increasingly complex and diverse society in which borders have been created and restrict access to learning and security for many stakeholders. By emphasizing equity, diversity, and social justice in urban education and community engagement, we hope to nurture productive civic discourse.
