Abigail Barrett is an undergraduate student majoring in History and Art History at the University of North Carolina Charlotte. By participating in the Undergraduate Research Summer Scholar Program in 2021 with Dr. Heather Perry, she got to explore a German internment camp in Hot Springs, North Carolina. Creating two projects Playing From China To North Carolina and Rumors and Rations, she hopes you enjoy learning about this largely unknown part of history.
