Photographs

I find sunrises are really a symphony on dawn. When taking pictures, getting to the beach or a hillside or valley, 30 minutes before sunrises and staying an hour after will give you the full experience... The drumming of the waves match your heartbeat, sea birds sing or dance, or dive; sometimes dolphin, the moon, and a planet will arrive by the sea;  if there is a breeze sea oats and palm fronds waltz; shrimp boats and ships head south and north. In the mountains, the silent, still mornings paint the mountains with lights and shadows. Canadian geese dance across the valley. A curtain of light rises. It is a time to breathe, take it all in.
