Under Republic Act 9163, the National Service Training Program for tertiary students promotes civic consciousness and instills nationalism, encouraging active involvement in public service and community development. At the University of Nueva Caceres, NSTP focuses on the holistic development of the youth—enhancing their physical, moral, spiritual, intellectual, and social well-being. Through its various components, NSTP empowers students to contribute meaningfully to the nation's welfare, cultivating a strong sense of service and preparedness for civic and defense responsibilities.
Purpose
The UNC NSTP Council exists to lead and support the implementation of the National Service Training Program within the University. Its purpose is to foster civic consciousness, instill a sense of nationalism, and empower students to actively engage in public and community service. By guiding students through the program’s components, the Council promotes the holistic development of the youth—enhancing their physical, moral, spiritual, intellectual, and social well-being—while preparing them to contribute to the nation's defense and welfare.
Introducing the UNC NSTP Council! Under the guidance of Ma'am Gloria Ocol-Labuanan, our Council Adviser, we are a team of 12 dedicated student officers. Our goal is to advance the National Service Training Program, promote civic engagement, and drive impactful community service.
