3.f Community service and involvement

F.1. Curriculum and instruction provide opportunities for acquiring knowledge about the community, through field observation, ethnographic research or community exposure/immersion. 

F.2. The graduate school provides activities and programs that address environmental problems and concerns for the students, faculty, and the rest of the school community. 

F.3. The graduate school provides leadership in organizing and maintaining development projects, collaborative research with outside agencies and community organizing projects. 

F.4. Ethical principles and values are promoted through courses and public seminars on health and family life, self-sufficiency and development of local resources. 

F.5. Community needs and problems are discussed in the class, as part of the subject/course requirements or subject matter coverage.
