3.D Classroom management

D.1. In purely lecture classes, the number of students is appropriate to the size, ventilation and acoustics of the room and its facilities.  

D.2. In classes using lectures and other methods of teaching, the number of students does not exceed 50. 

D.3. In the library and information science laboratory, there is one laboratory assistant for every 20 students. 

D.4. Records are kept of students’ daily attendance.  

D.5. Regular class attendance is encouraged through: 

D.6. Proper classroom discipline is maintained in consonance with sound democratic practices. 

D.7. There is a systematic way of monitoring class attendance of students. 

D.8. There are existing guidelines in monitoring self-directed learning of students.
