" I chose the Marine Science program because it offers a comprehensive approach to understanding the ocean, which has always fascinated me. The program combines key areas like biological oceanography, where I can explore marine ecosystems and the diverse organisms that inhabit them; chemical oceanography, which helps me understand the chemical composition of the ocean, including how pollution and human activities affect it; physical oceanography, which studies currents, tides, and waves that influence global climate patterns; and geographical oceanography, which examines the structure and shape of the ocean floor. This interdisciplinary approach not only deepens my knowledge but also equips me to tackle pressing environmental challenges such as climate change and marine conservation.  This program has opened my eyes and mind to a broader understanding of the planet we live on. Through studying in this program, I have been able to shift my mindset towards protecting our earth, while also raising awareness among others so that we can all appreciate and safeguard our planet together.  "
