Print out and review our Attendee Guide to support your students at the Expo. Ideally, each student must have a copy of the guide.
Create a list of questions to ask the panelists. Check out our sample questions in the Attendee Guide.
Encourage your class to do some research on our panelists. They are listed in the Attendee Guide. Exploration of various career pathways is recommended.
The OIPE Voc Expo is only 2.5 hours long. Please expect short breaks in between sessions and plan your class' attendance accordingly. Our goal is to record everything via Zoom.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED: If watching as a class, please plug your viewing computer to a speaker system for ideal audio experience.
Our goal is to record the entire Voc Expo. This implies that you and your student(s) may be seen on camera during the recording. Professional decorum is expected.
Keep your computer mic off or muted while others are speaking. You will have the chance to speak during our Q&A portion.
Use chat function on Zoom to post your questions to presenters. The moderator will read out all questions. Note: Anything that you type on Zoom chat will be seen by all attendees.
Please use respectful language when you speak and use the chat.
Use your printed copy of the Attendee Guide to take down notes.
