Missouri Historical Society
There are many ways to get involved with the Missouri Historical Society (MHS).
MHS Volunteer Program – The Volunteer Office is committed to making our collections more accessible to the public, involving audiences through relevant interpretation, and assisting the advancement of MHS as a whole. We see the cultivation of volunteers as an activity that directly supports our mission to engage people in the St. Louis region and beyond.
MHS Internship Program – The Internship Program is committed to preparing future museum professionals by engaging interns with quality professional development opportunities; providing meaningful work experience; and giving them the support they need to pursue a career in libraries, museums, and nonprofits. Interns contribute to the Missouri Historical Society’s mission by making our collections more accessible to the public, conducting research for exhibits and publications, creating content for public programs, designing educational resources, and more.
