PAL Meeting Requirements for FSE Students

Three required PAL meetings as part of FSE Grade - details posted to Canvas. Advanced scheduling required through UMKC Connect

• August 19-September 6  Meet Your PAL: (1st meeting of semester) (late credit Sept 9-13 no credit after Sept 13)

• September 30-October 18  Mid-semester Check-in: (late credit Oct 21-25, no credit after Oct 25)

• October 28-November 22  End of Semester Review: (late credit Dec 2-6, no credit after Dec 6) (Note: PAL Program closed Nov 25-29 for Fall Break)

Two optional Peer Mentor Meetings as Engagement Experience Electives

• 1. • September 9-27  Discuss Strategic Plan Group Session:, Advanced RSVP required via form available on RooGroups (no late credit options, student who miss deadline should choose a different Engagement Experience elective)

     • October 7-November 8  Networking Session: Advanced RSVP required via form available on RooGroups (no late credit options, student who miss deadline should choose a different Engagement Experience elective)

Additional Workshops as Engagement Experienced Electives

The PAL Program hosts a wide range of workshops each semester that students may attend as Engagement Experience Electives. All workshops are posted through RooGroups.
