Mechanisms of the Impact of Gesture Observation on Learning

We are recruiting adult native English speakers for a research study on Mandarin tone learning. Participants will complete a computerized language learning task in the lab in-person while wearing EEG sensors. 24 hours later, participants will return to the lab to complete a post-test. The first session will take ~2 hours, while the second will take ~1 hour. Participants who are students will receive extra credit in an approved SLHS course, as determined by your instructor and the course syllabus. All other eligible participants will receive monetary compensation in the amount of $15/hour for completing the study, as well as a $5 bonus for completing both experimental sessions.
