• PhD Aspirants: students are considered for admission to the graduate program in Computer Science only after they have formally applied for admission through the Graduate School. Applications are completed online. For admission requirements and details of financial assistance please see here. 

Admitted students who would like to work at the intersection of networking, cloud computing, 5G/6G cellular networks, cybersecurity of critical infrastructure and AI may get in touch with me when it is time for them to find a doctoral advisor. 

• Master's students: students seeking to complete their master’s thesis preparation in computer science are advised to complete my computer networks and communications course. Additionally, if they would like to work in cybersecurity, I strongly suggest that they complete the advanced information security course. 

If you would like to complete graduate computer science independent project with me, please identify a project and draw up an outline of the project before approaching me. 

• Undergraduate students: seeking to complete undergraduate individual studies in computer science may identify 1-2 project ideas and a brief abstract for each of them before approaching me.  

I currently have exciting paid research opportunities for undergraduate/graduate students. Students desirous of working in the area of augmented and artificial datasets for improved training of deep neural networks may email me for further details (2026, open)

I am looking for a PhD student who can work at the intersection of two or more of these fields: networking, cloud computing, 5G/6G cellular networks, cybersecurity, and AI. Experience writing a grant or having a track record of publications would be advantageous. This exciting opportunity is open for 2024/2025 and offers a competitive stipend, but a tuition waiver is not assured (filled).
