Since joining UMS in 2011, I have involved in various research topics, but mainly focus on the Molten Salt Electrolysis Technology to increase the surface hardness of metal through Electro-carburisation process and to produce solid carbon through electro-deposition process.
Under a team of researchers in UMS known as Molten Salt Research Group, we secured several research grants from UMS and the Ministry in Malaysia. Research outcomes had been published in several journals or presented in conferences and exhibitions.
Recently, I found myself more and more agitated on the problem of plastic pollution especially in my own hometown, and feel something need to be done to tackle this problem. Thus I am spreading my research wings towards recycling and up-cycling waste plastic product. It is my hope that, together with the like-minded peers in GreenMechPro, we will come up with fruitful ideas and outcomes.
