Administration: Head of Programme, Mechanical Engineering Programme

Roles as Head of Programme:

Responsible to organized, manage and develop the programme to achieve the academic strategy of the programme in line with Faculty.
Ensuring staff performance is managed appropriately.
Responsible in managing and distributing lecturers work load, teaching assignment and admin related work.
Ensuring that University equipment / facilities under the programme´s control are properly maintained and serviced as required.
Managing the financial related to laboratory and equipment maintenance, and disposable materials for teaching and learning purposes.
Plays an active role as committee member for the Faculty Executive Committee, Faculty Academic Committee, and various faculty management posts.
Responsible in managing matters regarding academic accreditation with the Engineering Accreditation Council Malaysia (EAC)
Evaluating the yearly student intake both locally and internationally.

Sabah State Government Scholarship awarded by Sabah State Government Scholarship : 1994-2000.
Scholarship for MSc awarded by the Ministry of Higher Education of Malaysia : 2000 - 2002.
Scholarship of Malaysia-Nottingham Doctoral Programme awarded by Ministry of Higher Education of Malaysia Scholarship : 2007-2010.
