This artefact is relevant to my essay's solution for several reasons. This music video is amazing because apart from featuring a beautiful singer, there are also subtitles in English and Chinese explaining the meaning. This is a great way to learn Kadazandusun language and therefore I think it is a great idea to include this type of videos in online learning portals. I'm glad to see so many young people who are passionate and proud of my culture.
I came across this interesting website while searching for information. It shows me that there are efforts all around the world to capture extinct languages and it is possible for us to learn them using the Internet. It also gave me the confidence that my solution which is creating online learning portal is highly feasible because other people in other countries have done it too.
I came across this article about Kadazandusun Language Foundation (KLF). It made me aware that there are also efforts contributed by notable officials and organisations in our society to revive the use of Kadazandusun language since the article stated that Unesco has classified it as an endangered language. I selected this article as an artefact because this article can also be uploaded on an online learning portal if we create a specific website for the Kadazandusun language. The portal can update locals about the many activities being done to strengthen the native language in Sabah and this is the type of news that we should spread to netizens.
