You're invited to join us to debrief and recap the inaugural Women in Ag Day at the Capitol! Sponsored by Minnesota Farmers Union, Minnesota Corn, Minnesota Farm Bureau, and Minnesota Soybean Council, this gathering will provide an opportunity for networking and informal celebration of agriculture's presence at the Capitol. The event is expected to commence at 4 pm.
All Day - How to meet with your Legislator
For the legislative visits that you have scheduled, please contact the legislative staffer you connected with to see if there is an option for a virtual visit or phone call. Here is a link to a Women in Ag Day at the Capitol Handout with overall information about the day and data about Women in Agriculture. Please share this document with your legislator.
Legislators welcome meetings with visitors from their district who are visiting the Capitol. Schedule a 15-minute meeting before arriving at the Capitol. After all, you traveled all the way to St. Paul to see them!
How to find your Legislator: https://www.gis.lcc.mn.gov/iMaps/districts/
Learn how to schedule a 15-minute meeting here.
Don't be surprised if your Senator or Representative's Aide meets with you instead of the Legislator.
Allow at least 20 minutes to walk from the Capitol to the legislator’s office.

Senator Kunesh will be reading a resolution to celebrate Women in Ag Day in Minnesota.
Complete the survey before March 11th!
The survey should only take 3-4 minutes to complete. Follow this link for the survey.
In preparation for this inaugural event, State Senator Kunesh and the University of Minnesota Extension are seeking your input to understand the barriers, challenges, opportunities, and success you face as women in agriculture. The responses to this survey will be used to create a report that will be shared with State Legislators so they can better understand constituents in their districts and across the state.
(Please note: if you attended the Extension Women in Ag Network Conference on February 6, this survey was on the table tents.)
