Open to all traditional karate styles and affiliations

Registration deadline is Thursday 11-6-2025 by 5pm. Late Registration at the event is an additional $10 per competitor.

We are a non-contact traditional karate-do tournament. The events are judged by AAKF (American Amateur Karate Federation) certified and registered judges based on WTKF (World Traditional Karate-do Federation) rules. Kyu ranks will be using the Traditional Karate North Central Region of the AAKF tournament rules. READ TOURNAMENT RULES here

Schedule of Events:

10:00 am - check in for all competitors and judges

11:00 am - tournament starts

Match format will be 2 competitors at a time using flags system. Black belt kata are 2 rounds based on scores. Team kata matches are based on scores (top 4 teams must perform Bunkai in the second round). Enbu matches are based on scores.

Participant competing in Kyu Level 3 & 4 kumite and black belt free sparring must have a mouth guard. All competitor must agree to the waiver. Medals are awarded for the top 3 competitors. Snacks and water will be provided for competitors and judges.
