The College of Science and Engineering International Ambassadors (CSEIA) is a student organization at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities campus. CSEIA board members are made up of a diverse undergraduates student body on the UMN-TC campus. Within CSEIA, we have three main missions.
First, we encourage all students to study abroad. We achieve this goal by hosting events in collaboration with the College of Science and Engineering International Exchange Program to inform students about upcoming deadlines and opportunities. We bring in student speakers to share their experiences and answers questions students might have about traveling abroad.
Second, we welcome our international exchange peers through our Buddy Program. The CSEIA Buddy Program is different from the International Buddy Program (IBP). CSEIA Buddy Program is hosts and completely organized by a group of University of Minnesota - Twin Cities undergraduate students, who dedicate their time to bring cultural diversity, inclusion, and awareness to the University campus. CSEIA dedicate ourselves to expose each and every student, domestic or international students, to the most and best campus life experience the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities offers. Application for our Buddy Programs are open at the beginning of each semester.
Last, we share and spread the diversity within the College of Science and Engineering across the UMN-TC campus by hosting cultural events. Each cultural events are host in collaboration with the student group of the respected culture to bring about the most accurate and respectful representation. CSEIA wishes to show all the culture represented on the UMN-TC campus.
