Life Inside

Our program features rich academic events including and core lectures, subspecialty grand rounds, and annual research showcases where fellows present original scholarship. 

• Top Academic Lectures: Annual Jay Cohn Lecture Series & Erica Martin Lecture Series with top keynote speakers from across the country

• Research Showcases: Dedicated platforms such as Hebbel Research Day & Cardio Palooza to present abstract findings, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical trial updates. 

• Collaborative Learning: Interdisciplinary conferences bringing together cardiology with a variety of subspecialty care teams.  

Life Outside

From informal team dinners and seasonal happy hours to annual celebrations, we make time to connect outside the hospital. Throughout the year, we host a variety of formal and casual gatherings to foster mentorship, relaxation, and camaraderie:

• Graduation Gala: Honor the achievements of our completing fellows with colleagues and family.

• Welcome Picnic: Celebrate our incoming first-year fellows each July.

• Informal Dinners: Hosted across the metro with mentors and leaders.

• Team Building: Time away from clinical duties for cohort bonding, wellness activities, and open program input.

• Fellow Socials: Walks by the river, biking around the lakes, attending local sports events, and exploring local breweries.
