Queer Students in Physics and Astronomy (Q-SPA) has started an initiative to distribute signs to faculty and staff in SPA that they may display outside of their office to show their commitment to LGBTQ+ allyship. By displaying one of these signs, they have committed to be an ally to queer students. Allyship includes, but is not limited to, using students’ preferred names and pronouns, standing up to instances of homophobia and transphobia, treating queer students with respect, and committing to create inclusive spaces for LGBTQ+ students.
