STEP 1: Enrollment Decision

Now that you've received your offer of admission, you have three main choices:

• 1. Decline enrollment

  2. Plan to enroll

  3. Defer enrollment one semester

Let's explore the three options in detail:

OPTION 1: Decline Enrollment

Around 1 in 5 students decline enrollment. Common reasons students cite for declining enrollment include: transportation issues and cost, course availability, scheduling conflicts, time commitment, and wanting to stay at high school.

When: 

By Monday, September 15, 2025  (if you are enrolled in fall semester courses, this is the last day to drop a course).

How: 

Please complete this form to decline enrollment.

OPTION 2: Plan to Enroll

When: 

Sign up for the Registration Day Webinar by June 22 to indicate your intent to enroll in PSEO.

• • Sign up after June 22 will be permitted on a space-available basis only.

How:

1. Complete the remaining steps in this PSEO Welcome Site (steps 2 and 3). Then continue to the "PSEO First Steps" site in Canvas.

2. While in "PSEO First Steps," sign up for the Registration Day Webinar, even if you cannot attend (a recording will be sent to all students who sign up).

3. Complete online orientation "PSEO First Steps" in Canvas before registration opens on July 22.

OPTION 3: Defer Enrollment to the following semester

When: 

By Monday, September 15, 2025  (if you are enrolled in fall semester courses, this is the last day to drop a course and defer to spring).

How: 

1. Complete the remaining steps in this PSEO Welcome Site (steps 2 and 3). Then continue to the "PSEO First Steps" site in Canvas.

2. While in "PSEO First Steps," sign up for the Registration Day Webinar, even if you cannot attend (a recording will be sent to all students who sign up).

3. Complete online orientation "PSEO First Steps" in Canvas before registration opens on July 22.

4. After Registration Day on July 22, you will receive information on how to defer your enrollment.
