Its midway through a semester, can I still join?

Yes! You can join at any point during a semester! Since there is no formal membership, you may also show up to any meeting which topics interest you throughout the year without any other commitment to the club. Learn more about how to join here

I'm not in Carlson, can I still join?

Of course! Net Impact is open to all undergraduate students at the University of Minnesota. Learn more about how to join here

Do I need to have a major/minor that is focused on sustainability?

No. In fact, a majority of our membership are pursuing unrelated majors and minors. Through Net Impact, we learn how to tie sustainability and social justice into any major and career.

When/where are the meetings?

We meet every Wednesday at 7 pm on zoom at Bruininks Hall Room 114. However, sometimes the time changes so please view our calendar here for the most up-to-date information.

What is Impact Consulting?

Impact Consulting is a program we offer that allows students to get consulting/professional experience while helping local nonprofit organizations. Impact Consulting is close to a semester-long commitment. You do not need to be an active member of Net Impact in order to join. More information will become available near the beginning of the Fall and Spring semesters as applications become available. For more information, click here.

Are there leadership opportunities?

Yes! You can hold a leadership role as early as your freshmen year as an undergraduate representative. You may also hold a leadership role as one of our many board member positions. Applications become available near the end of each semester.
