Solenoid injector adapter for a Kubota 3-cylinder engine
Developed a custom adapter to integrate a solenoid valve into the cylinder head
CNC-machined in 316 stainless steel for chemical compatibility, thermal expansion matching as well as corrosion resistance
Improved installation with a rounded hex-head design, while still maintaining flange to interface with solenoid
Minimized in-cylinder clearance with optimized through-hole geometry
Mounting sleeve for an in-cylinder pressure transducer
Developed a sensor-mounting sleeve using a CT scan of a Kubota multi-cylinder head to enable accurate pressure measurements
Ensured coolant sealing with O-rings
Optimized geometry for minimal intrusion into clearance volume
Positioned the sensor relative to the sleeve using manufacturer datasheets
Coordinated work with fabrication shops to machine recessed mounting holes in cylinder head (ask me about the photo eek)
Modular Catalytic Exhaust System
Designed, fabricated, and tested a fully modular, chemically compatible aftertreatment system instrumented with thermocouples, pressure transducers, and emissions analyzers to support multi-parameter emissions studies across varying engine operating conditions.

Three way catalyst
Vanadium based SCR in series with Platinum based ammonia slip catalyst
Platinum based ammonia slip catalyst in series with Vanadium based SCR
