Walter's Wardrobe (Mondale Hall Room N20)
The law school's 24-hour professional clothing closet, available for all students in need of business attire. To coordinate donations and for questions, please reach out to lcouncil@umn.edu.
In-Person Appointments: In-person appointment at Ready for Success working with a volunteer personal shopper to select professional clothing and accessories.
Online Appointments: Volunteer personal shoppers will do the shopping for you based on answers to a clothing survey, which will be emailed. Once submitted, Ready for Success will do the shopping. You will pick up items at a scheduled appointment.

Mental Health and Wellbeing
Boynton Health expanded to include a satellite clinic on West Bank that is accessible through the Gopher Way tunnels. This clinic will feature mental health services with telehealth screenings. It is located on the 4th floor of Wilson Library (309 19th Ave SE, Minneapolis MN, 55455), open Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm with telehealth appointments available Monday through Friday from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.
Character and Fitness Wellness Group
Welcoming any law student every Friday at 12:30 looking for information or connection regarding substance use and recovery.
Strictly student-run, confidential, safe, judgment-free, casual.

Food & Nutrition
Mondale Kitchen, the law school's 24-hour student choice food pantry (Mondale Hall Room N20)
Boynton Health’s Nutritious U Food Pantry is an on-campus, free food pantry available to any graduate and undergraduate student attending the University of Minnesota. Student Union Room 103A, directly behind the Goldy Gopher statue. 12-6 pm on the last Tuesday-Thursday of the month.
Other food resources available to UMN students:
Boxed, prepared meals to-go. Meals prepared by the Campus Club in partnership with Minnesota Central Kitchen. These are available to all students at no cost; proof of need is not required. Vegetarian options are always available. Students who could benefit from these meals should come to Room 103A on the 1st floor of Coffman Memorial Union (same location as Nutritious U) on Thursdays from 3 - 4 pm or whenever meals run out. Email swipes@umn.edu for more information.
Meals will also be distributed at at Commonwealth Terrace Cooperative (CTC) on Thursdays from 12-1 pm, and to students living at Como Student Community Cooperative (CSCC) on Thursdays from 1:30-2:30 pm. These meals are available for residents in their community’s respective Community Center during the colder months.
Mobile Market. This market on a bus offers affordable and fresh fruits, vegetables, meat, dairy, grains, and other high-quality groceries. Students can pay with cash, card, or their EBT card (SNAP benefits). The Market will be open on the south side of Memorial Union and will run for two hours each time. Open on the south side of Memorial Union. 1st and 3rd Monday of the month from 2:30-4:30 pm.
St. Paul Campus Mobile Food Shelf (Foodmobile). Free groceries & household items available to any UMN student and their family on the 2nd Thursday of every month from 12-2 pm in the Commonwealth Terrace Cooperative Housing north parking lot.
SNAP Screening. Some UMN students are eligible to receive federal SNAP benefits, which can help them pay for groceries. Students can self-screen for SNAP eligibility by clicking “Find out if you should apply” on the SNAP for UMN Students webpage. They will be directed to the online SNAP application if they are likely eligible based on their responses.
Swipe Out Hunger Dining Dollars. The student group Swipe Out Hunger partners with M Food Co. to provide free Dining Dollars for students in increments of $20, up to $40 per semester. Students may request to be added to the waitlist for Dining Dollars by emailing swipes@umn.edu, providing their name and student ID number as well as how much they’re requesting ($20 or $40). Dining Dollars will be available soon and will be loaded onto the student’s U Card. They can be spent at any of the retail locations.
