LexisNexis Job Search Resources

Directories and Databases:

Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory: This is the largest online directory of law firms and attorneys which allows you to search by keywords and filters such as location, practice area, and size of firm.

NALP Directory of Legal Employers: This directory tends to include the larger law firms, but some smaller employers will be listed.  

Chambers: Research firm that produces international rankings for the legal industry.

Findlaw: Legal information for consumers and legal professionalslegal information for consumers and legal professionals.

Lexis, Westlaw, and LinkedIn  have numerous databases that will help identify and research potential employers.

GoBigLaw.Com: This job search site is focused on legal job opportunities within larger law firms. Great for searching a summer associate position during law school or for a post-grad job.

National Plaintiff Law Association (NPLA): Students membership is free and grants access their career resources. They also have a newsletter that shares the latest news and updates, found at the bottom of their "Home" page.

Minnesota Lawyer's  Minnesota’s Law Firms List By Size: This publication lists local law firms by size and includes firms as small as 12 attorneys.
