Member Awards
OUTSTANDING AWARDS
These award recognize Meeker County 4-H Members in grades 6+ that have excelled in one of the following areas:
Longtime 4-H'er
4-H County Ambassador
Animal Science Member
Expressive Arts Member
Family & Consumer Science Member
Mechanical Science Member
Natural Science Member
Personal Growth & Development Member
Plant & Soil Science Member
You may apply for more than one award, however, each 4-H Member may only receive one Outstanding Award per year.
MINNESOTA 4-H KEY AWARD
This award recognizes 4-H members for outstanding contributions to 4-H and the community as citizens and leaders. 4-H is proud of its youth leaders! The Key Award recognizes your contributions to your club and the community, and encourages you to grow as an outstanding citizen.
PROJECT RECORDS
4-H Members are honored based on project records submit during the 4-H year that was just completed. There are general records that are available on the Minnesota 4-H Record Keeping website or you can request project specific records from the Extension Office by emailing mnext-meeker@umn.edu.
There are project records, and participation summaries. Records should be done one per project completed in the 4-H year. Participation summaries are to be done one per year.
Members who submit their project records will receive project pins for their hard work and accomplishments.

Please note , the Pin Award Application is not required starting this year. Only the record(s) & participation summary are required.
BEST SET OF RECORDS
This award recognizes 4-H Members for their exceptional record keeping of their 4-H projects and learning. Eligible 4-H Members must complete project records for all projects exhibited at the County Fair.
EDUCATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP
The Meeker County 4-H Federation supports up to 3 Meeker County 4-H Members or Alumnus annualy with a $500.00 educational scholarship.
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Be a current Meeker County 4-H Member or Alumnus.
Have a minimum of 5 years of 4-H membership, with the last 3 years in the Meeker County 4-H program.
Demonstration 4-H leadership roles.
Use the scholarship for further education within 3 years of high school graduation.
Currently enrolled in an institution of higher learning.
Submit application to the Meeker County Extension Office by the 1st Monday in October to be considered.
Members are only eligible to receive the Meeker County 4-H Scholarship one time.
You may apply for up to three years after high school.
