The Fluidigm CyTOF2 Mass Cytometer is installed in the Department of Chemistry's Mass Spectrometry Laboratory. The Fluidigm mass cytometry platform includes the MaxPar® line of metal-conjugated probes, the CyTOF Mass Cytometer, and high dimensional analysis tools from DVS Cytobank.
New users must undergo extensive training before running samples independently. For training, please contact Sean Murray at murra011@umn.edu and Zoe Maxwell at maxwe235@umn.edu.
$46 per hour for University of Minnesota and Mayo users; $74 per hour for other academic institutions; and $156 per hour for industrial users.

Select metal tags for each antibody. Do on your (Fluidigm tool, registration required) own or contact us.
Purchase metal-tagged antibodies from Fluidigm, our metal-tagged antibody library (see below). You may also purchase non-tagged antibodies and we will train you on the process of metal tagging.
Test your antibody panel with your sample. Prepare your samples and run them in the CyTOF2. Antibodies can be tested at the same time as long as they have different metal tag. We can provide protocols. For instrument usage and training, contact Sean Murray at murra011@umn.edu.
Select optimal concentrations of antibody. Titration experiment.
Conduct your CyTOF measurements using optimized antibody concentrations.
Analyze your data using SPADE or ViSNE using CytoBank. We can provide access to the software.
