Yukiko Endo, MD, PhD (Yukiko) is a postdoctoral fellow in Hiro Nakauchi’s lab at Tokyo Medical and Dental University (TMDU). She is a specialist in general and gastrointestinal surgery. Her primary focus as Leducq Fellow is directed towards the engineering of exogenic organs in gene edited mice. Specifically, she uses blastocyst complementation, iPSCs and gene editing focused on the pancreas to engineer humanized organs.
