Yong-ho Choe, DVM, PhD is a Postdoctoral fellow in Dan Garry and Mary Garry’s lab at the University of Minnesota. He has expertise in developmental biology and porcine embryology. As a Leducq Fellow, his research centers on the engineering of exogenic organs in gene-edited pigs. Specifically, he focused on utilizing SCNT, blastocyst complementation, iPSCs, and gene editing targeted at the skeletal muscle lineage to engineer humanized organs in pigs.
