Satyabrata Das, PhD (Satya) is an Assistant Professor in Dan Garry’s lab at the University of Minnesota. He has expertise as a molecular biologist, developmental biologist and stem cell biologist. His primary focus as Leducq Fellow is directed towards the engineering of exogenic organs in gene edited pigs. Specifically, he uses blastocyst complementation, iPSCs and gene editing focused on the cardiovascular lineage to engineer humanized organs in gene edited pigs.
