Naoaki Mizuno, MD, PhD (Naoaki) is an Assistant Professor in Hiro Nakauchi’s lab and Center for Experimental Animals at Tokyo Medical and Dental University. He specializes in developmental biology, genome editing, and molecular biology. His primary focus as a Leducq Fellow is the establishment of human PSCs contributing to the xenogeneic cardiovascular system. He introduces transgenesis into human stem cells, followed by NGS and whole-mount microscopy.
