Hyeonjeong Lee, DVM, PhD is a Postdoctoral fellow in Dan Garry and Mary Garry’s lab at the University of Minnesota. She has expertise in developmental biology, stem cell biology, and porcine embryology. As a Leducq Fellow, she is dedicated to improving the efficiency of engineering exogenic organs in gene-edited pigs with higher efficiency. Her research focuses on using SCNT, blastocyst complementation, iPSCs, and gene editing, with a particular emphasis on developing humanized organs in pig, especially targeting the heart.
