Hisato Nagano, M.D., Ph.D., is a postdoctoral researcher in the Nakauchi lab at Tokyo Medical and Dental University. He is an expert in skin biology and developmental biology, with extensive experience in treating burns and trauma as a certified plastic surgeon. As a Leducq Fellow, his primary focus is developing new technology to generate human organ/tissue in postimplantation-stage fetuses. Specifically, he employs in utero injection to deliver human PSC-derived progenitor cells.
