Hidenori Ito, Ph.D., recently joined the Nakauchi Lab at the Institute of Science Tokyo. His research focuses on the development of endothelial cells and the mechanisms underlying endothelial cell-related diseases. He has extensive expertise in generation/characterization of human iPSCs, differentiating them into endothelial cells, and characterizing endothelial cell function and vascular biology. He will apply this expertise to generate vascular-humanized organs within human-animal interspecies chimeras.
