Dongwan Kim, PhD (Kim) recently joined Hiro Nakauchi’s lab as a Post-doc at the Tokyo Medical and Dental University. He has expertise as a molecular biologist and RNA biologist and changed his interest to xenogenic organ development. As a Leducq Fellow, He focuses on the identifying the xenogenic barrier factors. For that purpose, he adopts interspecies co-culture and blastocyst complementation to investigate cell-cell interaction molecules.
