Asghar Ali (DVM, PhD) completed his DVM from the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, Pakistan, in 2010, and later earned his PhD in Biomedical Sciences from Colorado State University, Fort Collins, USA, in 2020. Currently, he is a postdoctoral researcher in Eckhard Wolf’s Lab at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, Germany. He has expertise as a molecular biologist and reproductive biologist. His key focus as a Leducq Fellow is on creating genetically multi-modified pigs for tissues or organ xenotransplantation in humans.
