Who We Are
The Career Facilitation Committee is a group of graduate students, postdoctoral scholars, and faculty who are dedicated to supporting the career development of the Graduate Program in Neuroscience trainees. We plan events, provide resources, and meet on a monthly basis to discuss the career development needs of our community.
Our Mission
To support trainee career development by providing resources and events to help individuals identify and pursue career goals.
To inform trainees about various career options with online resources, networking opportunities, and invited speakers.
To build connections between GPN trainees and local PhDs who are working in connected careers.
To prepare GPN trainees for their next career step, no matter what it is.
To represent and encourage diverse pathways and viewpoints while supporting all career goals.
We are committed to dismantling white supremacist systems within academia with intention and action rooted in accountability, anti-racism, abolition, diversity, equity, and inclusivity for marginalized groups.
