Career Facilitation Fridays are official afternoons within the GPN, set aside for students and postdocs to focus on career development activities.
These CFC Fridays occur once a month, typically on the last Friday of the month. During this protected time, students may work on independent career development tasks, or attend CFC events (speakers, accountability group, writing group, mentoring programs, etc.).
The GPN is, first and foremost, a training program and supports students in their preparations for success in a variety of career paths.
This event series meets monthly to discuss specific career paths with a panelist in the field and identify action items to help students prepare for these careers.
