1. In the catalog tree, right click on the Data folder
2. Select New → XML Document
3. Rename the new XML document “ChicagoTemplate.xml”
4. With the file selected, click on the Description tab in the main window and click Edit
5. In the navigation panel, go to Metadata → Contacts
6. Click +New Contact and fill out the fields with this info (or your own):

11. In the navigation panel, go to Overview → Citation Contacts
12. Under the Load a contact dropdown, select "Department of Streets and Sanitation, Public Works Department of Chicago"
13. Click +Load
14. Expand the caret arrow to the left of the entry.
15. Change the Role to Originator.
16. In the same window (Resource Citation Contacts), Click +New Contact and fill out the fields with this info:

17. In the navigation panel, go to Resource→ Distribution
18. Select +New Distributor
19. Click +New Contact and fill out the fields with this info:

21. Click +New Online Resource and fill out these fields:

23. In the navigation panel, go to Overview → Contacts Manager
24. Select all of the boxes to save the contacts to your ArcGIS files. (Although contacts entered in multiple fields will show up twice, you only need to select one of the Department of Streets and Sanitation.)
25. Click Save at the top left.
26. Click Edit
27. In the navigation panel, go to Overview → Item Description
28. Copy and paste the following text into the Summary (Purpose) field:
Chicago utilizes mechanical street sweepers to remove debris and litter from streets. From April 1st through mid-November, bright orange temporary parking restrictions are posted the day before sweeping service is scheduled to begin on any street to ensure curb-to-curb cleaning.
29. Copy and paste the following text into the Description (Abstract) field:
Street sweeping schedule for the city of Chicago by Ward and Ward sections number.
30. Click Save
